Just look around
You will see a dried-up flower
Which waited too long to be touched
You will see a broken forfeited brick
Which was not good enough for its sole purpose
You will find Stories everywhere
But Some of these stories will fizzle out soon
Like the morning dew when the sun comes out
Some lucky ones would end up on paper
Only to be forgotten and thrown in the attic
Where it would Suffocate Itself eventually
With a small amount of dust every day
But the luckiest ones however
are those that travel Generations
Every Story deserves to be heard
But to be remembered, it needs Unpredictability that keeps it alive
2016 brought in such a chapter in our stories
Many of us were ready for it
I was not ready
Yet, I somehow convinced myself to start writing it
Days went by, and I could not write even a single word
Everyone I met had their stories planned while all I had were blank
pages
But then a bunch of characters accidentally walked into the story
And brought with them a few words each, which after that never
stopped coming
I left those initial pages blank, just to remind myself later how it
all started
Some characters lasted a Few words or the whole chapter
While a few of them will stay with me forever
They taught me how to laugh, how to cry, how to waste time that I
will cherish forever,
how to act confident when I am clueless
But the best thing they taught me was
”You don’t need a Plan to be happy”
Four Years Later
It was time to end the best chapter of my Story
We had the best ending planned
Again, things didn’t go as planned
This is not how we wanted it to End
I am again leaving these last pages blank again
To remind me how it all started
All I am today
I owe it to those blank pages
I started this chapter with
And all I would be at the end of this story
I would owe it to these blank pages
I am ending this chapter with
Even today, I have nothing planned
Maybe life will figure out something for me, or maybe not
But the one thing I am sure about is
It will be worth all of it
Many of us will be starting a new chapter
Just make sure you leave a couple of pages blank in the beginning
