There’s something mysterious about lizards
The way they seep in
through those cracks in the wall
Through which, even the light cannot escape
One second it’s Sitting in a corner
as stationary as it can get
Like a speck on the wall
as if it’s been there for ages
Another second it moves
like a lightning in the sky
Created by God themselves
for this world to keep an eye
Through all this, It’s goal remains constant
which leads it through those cracks in the first place
Its goal, to devour its prey,
any creature which crosses it’s path ever.
I was sitting in that dark room
for God knows how long
Lonely, Depressed, and Broken inside out
not even a whiff of air to accompany me
But God had some other plans for me
There came that mysterious creature
Seeping in through those cracks in the wall
Devouring it’s prey like it never existed
It prey this time, my Loneliness
Well I’ve never been Lonely since then
The darkness it’s still there
But I have a Friend to accompany me through all of
That mysterious little creature
The world calls - Lizards
